i am a recently retired engineer of 20 years, but this sounds like (based on the info given) a heater element fault, after the machine fills up and agitates a few times the heater should start, check the heater for open circuit, replace if needed, of course it just could be a wire off? if i have helped rate me please

could be the bearings or heater/heater may of lifted or spider sometimes a coin can get trapped

I have just bought a 6 month old WIXL163S washer with no user manual with it can you tell me where to get one from and how do you get the machine to spin at 1600 for a wash that has a slower spin please
Suggest allowing your wash cycle to complete and then use "Spin only" on fastest setting (1600).
