I just brought this phone and as soon as i turned it on it had enter unlock code on the screen.it has 4 digits so i was wondering did anyone know what i can put to unlock it please help thank you
This code comes from SIM card(Carrier) in your phone, not from the phone manufacturer. You should have gotten the code from the Carrier or the person you bought it second hand from. It is called the SIM Lock Code.
If it was not provided with your phone by the carrier, then you can take it to a carrier cellphone store and identify yourself, or show sales receipt provided by original ower, and the carrier can Reset the code to either 1234, the typical default lock code, or one of your choice.
NOTE!! You have only three tries to get the code right, then the phone is locked out and you MUST go to a carrier to get it unlocked. If you have not idea what the code is, then the only code worth ONE try is 1234. If you bought this off ebay, it could be locked up because someone else has already tried too many times to unlock it. Try try to get the seller to either take it back or provide you with a method to unlock it.
Many phones can be unlocked by buying a new SIM card, both TMobile and ATT sell them on their websites for about $6. This would get you to at least the point you could then enter the 15 digit IEMI Phone Unlock code that allows the phone to be used with ANY carrier. If the message on your phone is Network Locked, then you are trying to use a SIM from a carrier other than the one this phone was designed(locked) to be used with. If this is the case, either by a SIM card from the carrier named found on the phone, or Logo displayed on power on, or elsewhere, OR you can by the Carrier Unlock code, IEMI 15 digit code, off ebay, then emtry this code emailed to you from the seller. You can then use this phone with ANY carrier.
