My Hygena cooker hood fan (model APP2540) stopped working.

One of the bulb went and the fan stopped working. There is power on the unit as the other bulb still works when switch it on. Can anyone help?

Rangemaster part 2995 A119

Hi Gerald,

for old Rangemasters it is difficult to find the original parts, as they have their outside model.
But when you open the switch carefully, you will find 2 switches on a board, one for the light and one for the fan.
These parts are common for a lot of cooker hoods. The switches look like the one of link 1

Hygena APP2500 cooker extractor hood?the lights on the hood work but the extractor itself does not work, is this likely to be the motor that needs replacing or the switch unit ? Plz advice

if u have a meter u can check the switch and the motor,By putting it on the continuity mode and check to see if u have a bad motor or switch

Fan and light does not turn on .

FAN AND LIGHT DOES NOT WORK
my zephyr typhoon stopped working. Neither light not the fan come up. I am sure there is power going into the unit. I turned on the light one day , the light cam on and suddenly went away. From then even the fan stopped working. any information on what happened is appreciated. Thanks

Cooker hood not working

Check power from the wall.

Check power in the wiring coming into the hood.

Check to see wiring is not broken.

Fan and light not working where is fuse box?

Hi - I have a neff extractor fan and have the same problem. The light and fan have both stopped working. Does anybody know where I can find the fuse as I suspect that this may be the problem too?
