I would clean or replace filters on it check the hose to make sure it is not blocked . It sound like it is over heating and making the breaker kick off and after it cools down it resets this is caused by dirty filters or blocked hoses.

I have a Fantom Thunder TH469KA and it shuts off after 5-10 min of running How do I fix this?

on all vacuum cleaners the air flow cools the motor. If the filter is sufficiently clogged there would not have enough air flow to cool the motor and trips out from over heat. Clean out the filter thoroughly and try again.

Hoover vacuum shuts off after 10 minuts of use.

If there is no clog the filters may need replaced to improve airflow

Had this Hoover Model# UH 71214 for 14 months, use it once a week in my Condo. all of a sudden it shuts off, will come after 30 minutes, but then shuts off again after about 10 minutes. I clean it aft

Many people are not seeing the washable filter at the top of the vacuum cleaner. You can't see it until you open it. This will cause the vacuum to overheat and shut down when not cleaned.

My problem/// cleaner turns on for a around ten (10) seconds and then shuts off wait a few minutes and it will turn on but goes off again at ten (10) seconds?????

These units have a automatic resetting thermal fuse near the motor to help to protect it from burning up by running too hot. This will need to be inspected and tested to see if it's holding it's proper temps., if not it will have to be replaced. There should also be an inspection of the machine to detect what was causing the reset to shut down that quickly, so that can be repaired as well.

Eureka maxima heats up and shuts down after 10-15 minutes use??

sounds like you have a clog some where or need to replace your filters. your machine is tripping the thermal switch thats why it only runs for 15 min

After from ten to fifteen minutes of use it automatically shuts down but will sstart up again after fifteen minutes.

It sounds as if the motor has overheated at some point and damaged the thermal protector in the motor. Be sure all the filters are clean before operating the vacuum. If it continues to shut down, the thermal protector will need to be replaced. ( Part # 28382093 ) This is a very common problem with bagless vacuums, if the main filter is not cleaned after every vacuuming.

My vacum keeps sutting itsself off after a few mins of use. I need to vacum the whole house and dont have tinme for it to cool down every 10 mins

Something is plugged. What you describe sounds like the motors' thermal limiter is opening the circuit to prevent the motor from overheating. You need to open and verify that evey air passageway is clear and the unit has good air flow. I bet you find a blockage, and with one, cleaning ability would be severly diminshed.

Vacuum shuts down after 5-10 min of use

It may have a problem of overheating. If you havn't cleaned out the thing that holds all the dirt and dust, you may want to consider doing that. There might be a thermostat in it that shuts down whenever it thinks it's to hot.

Roomba cuts off after a minute or so.

If you have a 400 series Roomba, try removing the battery, then holding down the power button for ten seconds, then recharging the unit before you run it again.

If you have a 500 series Roomba, don't take out the battery-- just press and hold the "spot" and "dock" buttons for about fifteen seconds. The Roomba will play a tune, and you can then charge it and try running it again later.

Hoover u5720-900 quits running and restarts again after some time

There is one more filter under where the collection tank & Hepa filter sits -- there is one screw that holds the cover down - remove that filter and clean it that will help. I also find I need to vacuum the hepa filter as well- it is too expensive to replace all the time. The Hepa filter can be placed inside a plastic bag and shaken really good to get the dust off of it
