I expect the battery will be where it is to be found in most other watches. Remove the back of the case and the battery should be fairly simple to access.

Please note that many Fossil kaleido watches, especially the sports variety actually have THREE batteries. Two run the animation and one runs the time. The time one lasts much longer, usually a few years, but is smaller and buried a little deeper so you could overlook it if not paying attention. The two kaleido batteries are very visible and usually placed side to side. Pay attention though as for some of the watches those two batteries are set in the same way ( both positive sides up) while others, especially the sports variety have one battery positive side up and the other negative side up. It is important to replace them the same way or the watch will not work

I wouldn't advise you to do it yourself, as without special tools and knowledge you will just damage that watch. The best way is to type in your browser: watch repairs + your area. You should find plenty of them there. Contact by phone first and explain what sort of watch you do have and what's needed to do. Ask watch repairer on the phone, because only him/her will be able to understand specific needs. Do not explain to manager or just personell - they are useless. When you are satisfied with the answer over the phone, go there and give your watch for whatever it needs.

As the question is incomplete, there are suggestions: 1. Dual watch is reversible watch where the watch face is on both sides. Each face usually have different design and features. Wearer is wearing two watches at once and can choose which one can be visible. 2. Dual watch can be dual time watch. That means watch has capability of showing time in two different time zones at once.

go to skagen.com they have cheap replacement bands for your watch you can even send it in and they will send it back to you like new.

I would take go to Wal-Mart. They have virtually every battery and they will change the battery for you as well. If they don't have it then a jewelry store will.

DONT try to change a watch battery yourself unless you have crystal press to close it and thats if the case back pops off...if it screws on then you need a case wrench to open and close it! Better to seek out a local watch repair business and avoid Walmart! :-P They arent trained to repair watches...Ive fixed a lot of their mistakes!

On the solar charge watches, they use a chargeable Lithium battery. It is NOT an off the shelf regular battery! It is best to send the watch to the factory service rep in your area for a battery change.

In many of these models the battery is using solder contacts to the circuit board. The person changing the battery will require the original spec battery, and be equiped to do surface type soldering.

When working on this watch, the factory service will change the seals and do a pressure water resistance test. The regular corner watch service store is not equiped to do this type of testing.

Normaly, the battery in solar watches should last more than 5 years. Some are going past 10 years!
