Try to first download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5
Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

Blackberry 8310 does not sync with computer

CLICK ON OPTIONS .. SELECT USB AND CLICK on detect button . through desk top manager. the pin should be appear. on the down left side of desktop manager. if msg appears. no device found. go to Control panal . phone n modem options. click on the center tab of modems n remove any STANDARD MODEMS installed there unplug the cable n replug it back .. it ll be done . else try restart.. n dtm ll pick up the phone.
