Out of nowhere my tv quit showing a picture. It tries to come on, shows snow & then goes to a blank blue screen. I can change channels, go to the menu, etc... but nothing will give me a picture. The cable is fine as it works with another tv we plugged into it. My VCR & DVD still work. How can I get my picture back????

You do not mention if you have unpluged the tv from the wall,is the easiest thing to try,if the set resets and still does not open the tray you can still force it open it manually but very carefully just to remove the dvd,if you can not force it open by pulling evenly in both extremes of the tray and you feel the dvd still is not coming out even with the tray open, dont go further and get help from a servicer,we do not want to break the mechanism.(set should be unplug )You can also remove the back cover and see if the main conector to the dvd player can be unplug,if it does you can leave it unplug and try turning the set on.This information might help you make a decision but the best solution will be to disassembly the dvd and remove the stuck dvd without forcing anything. The set is faily new and is worthed the repair.Let Us know how it goes.

you have to hit the vcr/tv button on the remote. there is a separate line that works for games and dvd devices.

Hi dogbyte,
For some reason, certain Windows Mobile (Standard) devices don't like "list" format for the Start Menu.
Give this a try:
1) Remove the battery for 1-2 minutes. (This allows any cached memory to clear)
2) Power the device back up.
3) Before openning ANY other apps, navigate to Start > Settings > Display > Start Menu Style
4) Change this value from "List" to "Grid"
5) Click Done twice, then click the Home key.
6) Give the Start menu another try. (Does this resolve the issue?)
Another forum suggested that Windows Mobile seems to be a little picky about which application appears first on the Start Menu. If you have any custom applications installed, it's possible WinMo's start menu just isn't playing nicely.
Hope this helps!
