I have the same problem.My dvd plays in Black And White.I found out A bulb in the tv burned out.The tv will still play color,but any dvd player will play in Black and White.The bulb is $130.00 to 230.00.Hope you have a warrenty like i doo.Thanks Hope ive helped.John from Riverside RI.

Go to the "Bose" menu screen viewing on your TV (make sure no dvd is in the player) Go to your Video controls and check your output, chances are, if your using the component output your player is set to "S-Video". Hi,make sure your tv channel says av2 and not av2s as this will play in b/w,hope this helps

red accessory
black ground
purple right rear + speaker

blue/white rem amp
brown phone mute
orange/white illumination
grass green handbrake but if u want to play dvd's
whilst u drive connect this to earth

it sounds like you have hooked the power wires up wrong try trace back your wires with this diagram

Make sure the DVD is not on the PAL system. Trying to watch a PAL dvd on a NTSC TV or DVD player will play it back in black and white only.
