How to remove write protection from sandisk cruzer flash drive

Format it with your windows format tool then right click on it in the device control screen select "run as administrator"

I think the sandisk cruzer flash drive does not have a write protect switch. Please give more details about the product, model number etc. It could be possible that the "SanDisk SecureAccess software" provided with the flash drive could be protecting your drive. Open the associated application for findign out how to turn off write protection.

No? - Then in Windows 7 - Go to Start and check your User Account icon. Are logged in as an Administrator? Guest users have limited access. Switch users or have someone else login.
