Hi, I have just purchased a Timex perpetual calendar watch, and the problem is that the date changes at midnight, as one would expect, but the day changes later, at about 3am or just after. There are 2...

The middle position is usually used for changing the day and the date.

Turn it clockwise for one and anticlockwise for the other.

The fully out position usually stops the watch and is used to set the hands.

As you rightly observe, there are not many other options!

I assume that your haven't got any instructions for your watch so if the above does not solve your problem, then you can get instructions from the Timex web site "timex.com".

At the bottom of the screen click on "manuals/downloads", then on "product
manual download"

Enter your watch type in the search box and click on "search"

The plastic piece that holds the battery in place on mr Festina watch is broken, can I order a new piece?

I would contact Festina at the following:

[email protected]

They probably can send you a new piece but I would email them and ask them. You might check first with a local watchmaker also. Best regards.

How do you replace or clean the white leather part of the watch band? The leather has gotten dirty and I have tried tennis shoe cleaner and Mr. Clean sponge wipes.

mcdevito75 here, I don"t think there"s too much more you can try as I have had the same problem, Best Bet, replace the strap.

Cannot reset time

Hi to anyone with a wave ceptor, when you replace a battery you need to re calibrate the hands to 12 o'clock (also those with a 24 hour hand will need to be set to 24) this is called the home position, the same goes to stopwatch hands.
The hand setting settings vary wildly from watch to watch you will need to consult the manual or if you have lost it download thePDF file from casios support page, www.casio.co.uk , you will need adobe reader or a similar program that reads PDF files also you will need the module number, this can be found as a 4 figure number on the back of the watch, these instructions are easy enough to understand, i managed to set mine no problem.
Good luck!!!!

Have an Ebel Men's Watch: Classic Wave Two-Tone Stainless Steel Mens Watch 1255F41.0225. Bought it 2.5 years ago. Now the second hand moves only after each 4 sec. The rest of the watch appears to be...

The really nice thing about your watch is that when you need a battery, the watch gives you a 30 day notice by having the second hand do what I call " a triple step" where the watch keeps time, but youe second hand goes 3-4 steps real fast and then stops. Please take your watch to a reputable watch repairman, because your watch has a Cartier movement , and NOBODY but Cartier has the parts for your watch if somebody who dosn.t know what they are doing messes it up. If you have anymore problems feel free to ask me anytime . I LOVE EBELS!!!!
