check the highlimit thermostat and i think this machine has an inline thermister where it connects to the element. if ne of the connectionjs is loose or you have a defective part it can heat intermittently
The problem of the coffee maker is simply from the thermostat regulator. It is bad and need to be replaced. To fix this is quite expensive, and will require a professional touch from an expert that will be able to carefully disassemble am reassemble the components for you as the parts are quite sensitive to deal with.
There is no reset switch for this coffee maker, you just have to replace the thermostat before it can start working fine once again.
If you will give us a call with your model and date code and we will be happy to replace your machine under the warranty. Customer Service # is 800-352-2866.
Do you have the code date? If the machine 3 years old or less, it will be replaced free of charge for you. Please call 800-352-2866 with the model and code date and customer service will be happy to assist you.
Plug something else into the same outlet and see if you are getting electricity in that outlet. If it is on a ground fault circuit, push the little red button in in the middle of the outlet. or check the breaker box to see if the breaker has kicked. It is unusual for everything to quit working at the same time if it is getting power.
Did you check to make sure the switch on the side of the machine is in the correct position-the "I" pushed down and the "O" up in the air and you see orange around the switch? If this is correct, then please give customer service a call at 800-352-2866 with the model and code date.
I do apologize but these diagrams are not available. What is the problem with the machine? If you will get the model and code date from the bottom of the brewer and contact customer service, we can help resolve your issue. The machine carries a 3 year warranty and if it is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced at no cost. If it is older than 3 years old, then it will be replaced at a reduced price.
I didn't download it since we have a lousy connection but your manual should be available here:
http://common.csnstores.com/common/marketing/bun1002_use_manual.pdf
Despite the '1002' in the URL, it is the link for your model.
