Wireless capability failed how can i fix this

Go to start menu>control panel>hardware and sound>device manager. Look for network adapters and expand the menu. Find the wireless adapter, right click and click enable.

If it does not turn on then you might have a problem with your wireless adapter - check your device manager to see if it's detected.

I can figure out that your laptop runs Windows Vista. Go to Control panel, then Network and Sharing centre and then go to Manage Network Connections and see if the Wireless Network Connections icon is disabled, make sure it is enabled and not connected. Try disabling and enabling it again. If still no go, try to manually turn off the wireless switch and turn it back ON. Check the light status (if any), confirm the error message too. If still, it seems not to be working, then the internal switching might have gone bad. You need to get the laptop serviced.

First you need to check that the wireless button on the notebook is on or not.
Then you have to click on start - go to connect to - choose show all connections - there you will find the networks list - choose your network from the list and click connect at the bottom...if the network is secured it may ask you for pass key also.
If you have problems in connecting . check the wireless services is on or not .. to check that need to type services.msc in run box .. and in the services page check for wireless zero configuration double click it and the services should be started and automatic.
If there is not connection at all you can also check for drivers in device manager.. .under network adaptor- - check for drivers it could be broadcom wireless or intel pro wireless . uninstall them and reinstall it form recovery manager of your notebook ...
To access recovery manager you have to click all programs - then recovery manager - click advanced option in it - then driver download -

Look for a WiFi button to ensure it isn't off. If it isn't, then go to the Control Panel and go to Device Manager (Hardware Manager in Vista) and make sure the device disabled. Right click it and choose Enable. Should pick up your wireless.

Check the BIOS setting - the wireless card needs to be enabled.
Next check Control Panel - Device Manager - Network Connections. The wireless card it should be enabled and working. If it has a yellow ? against the wireless card then the wireless card driver needs to be installed.

best thing to do is check in device manager.right click on computer,,click properts.click device manager loo in device manager see if there is a yellow question mark next to your internet if so you need the driver. :]

Try to be more objectif in your post, first thing i recomonde to you don't do any thing if you have the garanty of the card or the laptop, bring it back to the seler

go to device manager and see if your wireless network adapter is enabled (right click)
then go to the network connection in control panel and run the setup internet connection then choose the wireless option
then just follow instructions.

i belive that when your computer boots you press F2 and the wireless card is automatically turned on
