Delete a video from Camcorder

If it were my camera, and I really wanted to delete everything on the hard drive I would format the hard drive.

Please make sure all video files have been transferred in computer then use Format option to delete all movie files in hard drive of camcorder, apply same procedure to sd card in camcorder.
Format option would be available in settings/ set up menu of camcorder.

If the images are on the card you select the appropriate pics and then from the MENU select delete. OR you can remove the card and and place it into a card reader select and delete.

You can delete files on DVD-RW disc only if it is not finalized.
If DVD-RW is finalized you need to format it through format option in menu.

select video footage list, select the clip you want to delete, press delete button/trash can, confirm delete.

I had the same problem while trying to delete video off of the camera's hard drive using the VideoCam Suite software. I never could figure out how to do it using the software. However, you can delete scenes from the hard disk directly in the camcorder using the menu. Answer:what you do is you press the play/record button on the left side of the camcorder when it is open to get to the videos. then you use the laser touch operation to scroll to the video you want to delete. then, right under the screen there should be 5 buttons. the one to the left of the menu button has a picture of a garbage can looking thing above it. just press that and then press yes when it asks you if your sure.

yes there should be an little slot on the memory card that u should be able to slide and that will unlock it
