Hello Everyone, I am very depressed :( My Sony xperia S fell in salt water and automatically switched off...now its not working... I took the phone to service center, they said phone is dead...:( but still they are trying to fix the problem and work is under progress... This happened to my phone once, I just took it apart (the bits I could, sim card, battery, cover etc) then dried it for quite some time with a hairdrier (on a cool setting) then left it over night apart. Put it back together in the morning and it worked. I'm guessing there was still water/ moisture inside of it to stop it working..
