It sounds like your hardrive or other media storage on you multitracker is full. You must have done alot of recording. Go to your manual and read about how to transfer your work to your computer. It should be USB transfer. Or burn your files to disc if your unit has a burner. If you beileve this message is an error message of some kind and your multitracker is still under warranty, call tascam immediately. I had a problem with a unit like yours and it took a long time and calling them til they actually sent me a new one. Good Luck

Tascam CD RW900. I recorded a CD via the analog inputs but, it will only play on the unit, no other CD players. They do not recognize it.

This is a common oversight by the recordist (you, inthis case). Put the CD back in the recorder, and access the recorder's menu. Look for 'Finalize disc' or Finalize recording'. Select this option, and wait the machine to prompt you to remove the disc.
Finalizing the recording is what encodes the new recording disc to your geographical location's standards. Once disc is finalized, it will play in any playback disc drive in the same geographical region as the one you are in.

What does it mean when says opc error on my tascam cd-rw 900sl?

So far as it looks from other information in the works that this problem is caused by defective media. I always use Taiyo Yuden discs and have had few rejections in over 600 discs. Supermediastore is where disc supplies can be had as well as information on the error rates of different media being produced. The complaints recently were due to a bad batch released of hhb brand discs.

Tascam md-350 "cannot copy" error

Like all home recorders, yours will not let you digitally record digital originals. The Serial Copy Management System (SCMS) is designed to prevent piracy.

Unfortunately it also means you cannot copy your own digital originals digitally.

Record them via the analog input. It will sound fine.

When i record and try to play back i get nothing dpo2 . 2 tracks armed. i stop rewind and play and theres nothing , headphones can be heard when recording

Very likely the over-write head does no longer function properly. Try again with a MD that already has recordings on it, try to record another track to it. If the entire disc seem blank after TOC was written, the OW head is bad. At this point the unit effectively becomes a player only....

I cant record

You'll see this message if you try to create a song but there's not enough disk space on the partition to create a song. Free up some disk space and try again. The manual is at http://www.tascam.com/products/dp-01;9,16,33,19.html under resources.
