Print spooler resends data if long delay between labels zebra

Epson standard code is totally different. EPL is Eltron printer language. I've not programmed in it, but there should be a programmers manual out there somewhere.

Define your label size correctly. Measure your LABEL exactly, do not include the backing paper or the gap. Calibrate the printer. HOW?
Power off printer. Press and hold the green feed button down and power printer on. Count one, two and release green button. The printer will calibrate and move labels and then print some stuff on the label. Wait until it has comletely stopped. wait another few seconds and the press the feed key once. The printer will print "out of dump". You should now be ready to print again.

I would think you are printing using a printer driver for the LP2844, not using the lexmark driver. Depending on whose Zebra driver you're using, one setting to check would be to make sure the web sensor is being used for type of media sensor. The names for this setting vary but can usually be found in the printing preferences tab.

Is the printer set for label taken, if it is then it is waiting for the sensor to see the label is gone before printing the next one. Apart from that, check the settings in the driver and make sure it is all set correctly

The LP2844 can only print on Direct Thermal labels.

DT labels have the ink within the label and the labels react to heat. If these labels are to be exposed to direct sunlight they will eventually turn black.

Hint:
If you scrape the label with fingernail you can usually see the black ink on label

The physical size of the labels is this max width 1 inch (MInimum) to 4 inches (Max). Maximum length of label depends on the amount of memory in printer but maximum size for standard LP2844 is 11 inches. With full memory can be 22 inches long.

The labels must be on a 1 inch core.

These printer can handle all label types.

1: die cut Labels - Use gap sensing.*
2: Labels with Black mark on back - Use Black mark*
3: Continuous roll - select continuous *

Same here... Can't be the printer - has to be something with either the paypal software or the driver since my 'SAMPLE' prints solid as well. Did you ever find a solution?

Update the printer firmware, download latest printer driver from zebra website.

Please be aware that zebra Lp2844Z is different with LP2844.

Added ''3 of 9' font to C:/Windows/Fonts.
Opened Word document, selected 3 of 9 as Font and typed a word.

Went back to printer and it printer the accession number and barcode.
