LG bluetooth hbm 760 pin number

I purchased an LG bluetooth hbm 760 headset and i can't find the box for it and it asks me for a pin number when my phone tried to pair with it. what do i do now?

The code is 0. type it in 4 times. this is standard for most if not all bluetooth sets. I had a few and that has been the code for all.

The LG web site (lg.com) does not list that headset. Perhaps it is an HBM-260? I suggest you call LG and ask for a user manual. Their number is 800-243-0000. Or, go to their support page (lg.com/us) and do a Live Chat between 8am-8pm CST Mon-Fri

The default PIN code for this device, and many bluetooth headsets, is '0000'. That is, just punch in four zeroes without the quotes.

My blackberry is asking for a code for my 760
The passkey for your headset is hardcoded to '0000' (four zeros).
If it fails to pair with your phone, turn it off. Then, press the PWR button for some 4 seconds, until its indicator light is steadily lit. It is in pairing mode now. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, the HBM-760 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode.
Anyway, if its user guide happens to be missing, you can download it from this location.

What is the passcode for the LG HBM 760?
Turn it on by holding the power button for four seconds, Then go to your phones bluetooth setup screen, search for new devices, and pair it. The blue led on the HBM-760 will turn solid blue during pairing. It is always discoverable. The default passkey is 0000. Hope this helps.
