Will the fk-102 fax kit work on konica 7222?

Which one the they have three mode 25, 36 and 47 depends on what you want to do.

DO THIS once because you are re-setting the FUSER it can catch on fire that will ruin a perfectly good day!!!!! Get a tech out to look at it.

Turn on the main and sub power switches.
Keep pressing the * button until the message
"Please enter service password." appears.
Input 9272 as the password and press the
[Start] key. (The password is fixed and cannot
be changed.)
[Mode Select Menu Screen]
Press 2 and 5 to select 25 mode. Then select soft switch. Set 3, then set 1 then change 1 to 0. to clear the code.

Their is a switch letting it know that it is not closed.
find the switch and either adjust it so it closed the contacts ,when the
door is closed,. or temporarily jump it out to confirm that it is the switch. Sometimes switches can be shimmed up with tape etc.

Does it print?, Can you ping it. Scan to Email or PC? Or SMB/FTP? Check mail server. also try this site

remove the drum and clean the sensor that monitors the drum or you have a bad sensor and or board

There is a sensor that monitor the drum some times it gets cover with toner and can not do its job of monitoring the drum which it has to do before copying/printing Sometimes you may also get "please wait" same problem. Have to remove the drum assy. Two bolts and center bolt. Then pull out assy. BE CAREFUL DONT NIC THE DRUM!!!! Then you remove the drum and clean the sensor. (Two sensors the white covered one, clear one is for paper jams) When was the last time a 250,000 copy Preventive maintenance kit was installed? and Drum replaced at 500,000 developer also replaced at 250,000 copies/prints. every 250K PM kit install.

what make and model copier? if there is no rj-14 jack(s) on the copier then it does not have the fax option installed. Many models have a fax button but do not come standard with the fax card. Usually an FK-502 or an FK-503 fax system.

Your machine is a Konica Minolta Bizhub 200. The FK-503 is just the designation for the Fax Kit. FK = Fax Kit, so just ignore that part.

yes there is a manual, but it required certified technician by konica to install this for you or authorized dealer.

I have never heard of a "kit" for scan to email. What I think they may be telling you is that you need to upgrade your Memory in the machine. The Memory that is standard in the machine may be limiting you to 10 pages, or the email service you are using is limiting the size of the file you are recieving. Are you using an inhouse mail server or an outside source like AOL, Gmail, Hotmail? Again, I have never heard of any "kit" for scanning at all. Hope this clears up some of the confusion
