Inactive usim I recently bought a sony ericson w595 phone from leeds city centre i then bought a brand new sim card when i put the sim card in the phone it came up with inactive usim and i am unable to send and recieve texts and calls

check u phone is all lock or not,is sp lock or network lock,just unlock only.

Hey, i think u bought the fone from a unknown person and ur fone is not a brandnew pack fone if i m right so ur fone is blocked bcoz of stealing.
if i m wrong so go to sonyericsson centre or a certified mobile fone engineer...

sir you will have to go to your service provider for the solution to your problem.......they will get you a new SIM and this should help you......

You can always try and call your provider for a compatible card.Some phones you will be able to get a prepaid card for your phone.It all depends on what you want to do.
If you want a regular cell instead of a prepaid,the best thing you can do is call your provider and let them know what kind of phone.

You need to purchase a network unlock code from '3'. This will enable you to put any sim in the handset.
Local markets somtimes do a phone unlock service too.

4 ur phone 2 write inactive sim is meaning dat ur old phone has been costomised with ur sim card. so use anoda sim 4 ur new phone

When i got my KU990 i got a new sim with it but i had to ring up my network provider and they gave me instructions to enable it. Basically they have to send a signal to your new sim so you put the phone on and the sim in then they tell you not to play with the phone for an hour or so while this is happening. It also makes your old sim card un-usable other wise you would have 2 sims with the same number.

you gotta wait for your provider to activate it if nothing it 2 days call them with your dilemma
