MY COPIES COME OUT WITH A DARK BLACK THICK LINE ON THE PAPER SHARP SF-7320

check the drum cleaning blade maybe the blade is worn out

Dear,
when drum clean blade is weak then strongly can not clean toner,so thick black line in all copies.
Solve: Replace clean blade or service.If your copier drum life is zero,you can change it.

This means the machine is over-toning ie using more toner than required caused by either improper toner or different brand of toner. The correct toner is sf 222T1. Replace developer and use the right toner and clean the drum and its blade. You may need to clean fuser rollers for cleaner copies.

Clean the drum unit seal blade thats leaking or replace it.

Check the copy lamp and its thermal fuse if they are okay, then clean optics, check drum and blade and clean or replace and finally clean or replace fuser rollers. If the above is ok and still black copies, check the copy lamp wire harness for continuity or the copy control board located underneath the display panel and check for bad component like triac and replace. If OK replace the main control board.

Check copy lamp if its lighting during copying if not Switch off and remove socket outlet and check lamp and thermal fuse . Clean optics.

Also adjust your front door which acts as a switch.

It depends... never use a Reman cart in these machines... only use sharp...especially if the machine is under warranty.

Does this happen when,
Using the Doc Feeder
When making copies from the Glass
Or when you print from a computer (assuming you print from a PC)

If you print something and this happens then it is inside the machine
Probably toner or developer dumping...

Take a few pieces of large white paper and cover the entire glass surface... make a copy is the line there? If so see the answer above... if not then close the top and make a copy with no paper on the glass... is that black line there.. If so then your top needs adjustment...

One more test
If you make a copy using the doc feeder, this black line only occurs when making copies with the doc feed, clean the **** glass, and try again...

Was the toner bottle removed before you moved the machine?

This means the developer unit is not installed . Check and instal.
