Can i skip blank pages while scanning duplex with a 5080c using capture perfect 3.0?

I am trying to scan documents that are mixed duplex and simplex within the same file. If I select duplex, it scans the back of single sided pages as blanks. If I scan simplex, it obviuosly skips that back page when needed. Is there a solution to this problem using CapturePerfect 3.0? I don't see a "skip blank pages" option anywhere. Thanks, Joe

There is option to skip Blank pages. You have to specify in terms of percentage, above which the scanner will save and discard images below the specified percentage.

SOURCE: Documents scanned as 256 grey scale/TIFF show up as black pages.

Grey as you know is different shades of black. Uncompressed TIF can store this information. Compressed TIFF is not designed for this. Compressed TIFF is for blck & white only. Try JPG option. JPG can compress Color & Grey. For pure black & white chose TIFF compression.

Check your scanning software settings. If you are getting only one file output, then you must have chosen 'multipage' option.

I clocked up all 3 printers on our business applications suite (making use of QualityLogic's hardware and software for the time) in 4.1 reliable pages per min (ppm), making them is bound to be a tabloid-capable inkjet asserts the fastest we've checked to this day.

Different colors in the graphics are slightly dulled down yet also within affordable variety. Right here once again, the quality is conveniently adequate for a lot of business needs, including, as an example, PowerPoint handouts. I see some allure in the default mode, yet it relies on how much of a perfectionist, you can take into consideration a sufficient graphics for outcome will certainly be essential clients or clients.

Dued to the fact that the MFC-J6910DW provides every one of the very same capacities that make MFC J6710DW-editor choices, including the capability to copy, fax, print as well as scan in tabloid dimension, and also print in duplex, extremely easy to suggest. Certainly, if you ever before have to scan a two-sided paper, you're far better off conserving a couple of bucks and purchase a MFC-J6710DW instead. Always have to rotate to 270 is this normal. I have to five copies and thet all have to be rotated

The Canon 5010/5020/9080c/7580C etd are duplex scanner (can scan both sides in one go). If you select simplex i.e., only top side, you will get the image straight, unless you have changed the settings in the scanning software. I am assuming you are using CapturePerfect software. Please switch off the rotate option in Capture perfect and the scanner output will be as you see it.

When i scan a letter 2 page is scanned:letter and blank page

You may be set for front & back (duplex) scanning. Change the setting for front only or simplex. This could be done with check/uncheck boxes, a drop-down menu, or a keyboard shortcut. I believe the standard Kodak settings are via check boxes.
This model is also capable of putting out color & bitonal (black&white) images simultaniously. If that's the case the pages should be separate image files. Uncheck either color or bitonal depending on which you want.

Can only scan simplex or duplex

The scanner can scan in either simplex or duplex mode only. If blank page is scanned, then it will appear BLANK, else someone would say, my scanner is not scanning properly! Remove balnk pages using software or sort on file size and delete the small sized files. Take care to ensure they are really blank.

Duplex Scanning

If the line appears in the same location, it is definitely dust sticking to the glass. How thick is it? If it is thick, it may be because of an LED failed to glow, but this is etremely rare. If you are getting line in Duplex mode and not in simplex mode, it is on the second scanning module! Try cleaning with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). If you have been scanning old documents which tend to break like biscuit or get powdery, a speck can enter into the scanning area and create trouble.
