I understand the sides of your Frigidaire freezer are hot and the compressor is very hot. I also see that the drain plug was frozen and the coils had lots of frost, which you defrosted and your freezer began running again. It looks like your freezer quit again and started up, leaving everything hot. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose and determine what exactly is causing your appliance to be hot. Hope this is helpful.
Check condenser clean and fan working. Check it's not frozen solid because you've been running it full pelt; if it is, fully defrost it then set it at a mid range setting.
Kenmore Frostless Upright freezer model# 23971. The alarm sounded, all contents in freezer is frozen solid. We turned the alarm off, but the red light continues to blink. How do you reset the alarm and stop the red light from flashing? It has been 3 days now and every time we have check to see if the contents has started to defrost, there is no signs of defrosting, everything inside of the freezer remains frozen solid.
If this freezer is running all of the time and only freezing the walls at the top inside it is a good chance there is deteriation in the piping in the walls eg (rusty pipes) letting the refridgerant escape (common fault) with chest freezers. If it is more than 7 years old it would be advisable to replace it as the repair would probably cost 3 quarters of replacement price.Hope this helps. Kind Regards.
u've brocken the coolent circulating pipes which v;ll be surrounded in the freezer box....!! due to the leakage of compressed gass....its not getting cold,.
If your products are already in the frozen state the answer is yes, you can make an immediate transfer. Normally a couple of hours run to allow the temperatures to stabilize is sufficient. The cool down run time also insures the the unit is functioning properly. If you plug it in and transfer the products right away make frequent checks to insure proper operation.
