I've used a fix before from http://www.microsoftfixit.net which cured the fault, pc also ran much quicker once the software had completed the repair.

Nvmini.sys file error screen went blue showing error like non paged sysytem fault.

I sounds like nvmini.sys is a virus or rootkit from what I have just read.

It seems like it is quite tricky to remove. Try searching google for nvmini.sys removal.

If you are not particularly technical, you may be better off paying someone to clean it off for you.

Hope this helps.

Xp

Hi There,

I just experienced the same problem you did concerning the partmgr.sys blue screen error. I am installing Windows XP Pro SP2 on a pretty old Dell Latitude LS (upgrading it from Win 2000). The XP installation disk gives me the option to format in NTFS, FAT, and both formats in a "quick" mode. I usually do not recommend using the quick mode, however, after trying both NTFS and FAT and receiving the blue screen, I decided to try NTFS (quick). That has allowed me to actually get further into the installation, so you may want to try that.

What say you?

Hi beester,

The file you specified is a driver for a logitech webcam and there is a possibility that it's corrupted, try to boot you computer into Safe Mode(if your running windows of course press F8) and try to uninstall or upate the driver for your webcam and check if you will still receive a BSOD(blue screen of death) on your computer. hope this solution fixes your computer problem.

You can also check this link and see if this will solve your problem if the above solution fails; http://www.runscanner.net/files/sys/lv321av/lv321av.sys.aspx
