Need more info. using cake mix? Using whites, whole egg w/yolk, baking soda or powder, et cetera. More info, better answers!
There are lots of causes of cakes issues, from something simple like over
cooking to over beating of egg whites. Take a look at this link for a good guide to cake issues; http://www.great-recipes.com/baking-tips/cake-baking-tips.html
You must make sure that you grease your pan really generously before you
put the batter in. You can use either a vegetable shortening or a cooking
spray.
Once you take your cake out the oven, give it about ten minutes to cool
down before tipping it onto a surface to cool. Sometimes if cakes are left in
the tin too long after cooking it causes them to stick.
if your cake comes out dry, the most obvious reason might be because of
over baking it. Even though they give cooking times in recipes, everyone's oven
varies and yours might be cooking it quicker.
Other reasons for dry cake include;
Too much flour
Over beaten egg whites
Too little fat
Not enough sugar
Here is a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to make cake balls.
The instructions begin with a cake that's already made but you can use a store
bought cake mix and you don't need to
bake one from scratch.
