Ok my next problem with this computer is my usb ports dont seem to work...what do i need to do to get them to work...doesnt show up on panel (meaning going to my computer) like it isnt there and i did plug in the cord for it but there are two places to plug it into dont know if it really matters which one it really needs to be plugged into though
Hello,
Do use in the front ports, sometime this port is unplug to the motherboard so it need to connect before you can use that port. In the back port you can always use that ports in there it is safe to connect any plug and play device such as flash disk or usb port printer. if this both not recognize your any device you inserted then probably your device is dead. try insert your device to other pc to see if still working if not then maybe the driver of your pc are not installed. try reinstall all the driver of your system.
may this help.

It is great, then your problem is in the front ports, I recommend that maybe extension work great, however if you insist to connect the front panel then you can refer to this picture for right connection.(careful wrong connection it damage your device that is why i suggest usb extension from back ports)

Hello Again,
That is why i giving you this link http://vermeulen.ca/PICT5339-frontpanel-... for the proper cable coding in connecting your front panel usb ports. Just open your casing and then trace the wire connecting to front P usb ports and then refer to the picture (the given link) to connect to the mainboard.
thank you for using fixya.

Ok,
USB cable connection code are the same in all motherboards what ever brand is it. so if you tried that then probably the front panel uSB ports got grounded. If you have a slight knowledge in electronic then repairing the circuit in it will resolve your problem.
Sorry for not resolving the issue but in every issue there is a very useful option. so why don't utilize the very good option.
"Don't let your ideas block by this problem. This will make you create complex ideas. but if you consider the issue and utilize it you end up in open minded and it will resolve the issue.
Hello Again,
It sounds good! Thank you for using fixya. hope to see you next time around.

well all four of the usb ports on back work great it is just the on the front that i am trying to get working and it is plugged into the mobo but also like i had said there are two places it can be plugged into and i dont know which one is the correct one...i really perfer to having the ones on the front work because it is easier to access and i dont have an extention for the usb on the back and a lso tried to redown load the drivers but said that they already existed...so i guess i might be good there...well i hope i am..
i really wished that would have helped me, so how do i tell which is
the correct one for me to use since i only have two to choose from the
mobo is ag915g 3.0
as i have said before i have seen this pic and it did not help me my
board is different and i have tried both connections and neither of
them worked...but thanks for trying it is appreciated
i will recheck the circuit but i didnt see anything the first time round, but thank you for trying. I was hoping it was just the drivers for it, but that is not it either and if don't get them to working I will just have to get an extension for the back panel, and once again thank you
