Dear Emily. Several problems. First, did this dryer ever work properly hooked up as it is? I mean hooked to the roof event? If it used to work just fine, then I suspect the vent to the roof is clogged with lint and is not allowing the heat to escape. If it never did work right,(for example: it is new to us) then I'd venture dryers are not supposed to vent their hot air that far away, they do not have a strong enough blower to push that air that distance. Then, you might try to find another place to vent the hot air, with a total distance of only 10 feet from the dryer, even if you only vented it while you were actually drying clothers. I doubt if the last item is for you, but I have sometimes seen where the washing machine did not spin all the water out of the clothes, and then the dryer needed all day to get the clothes dry. The lint trap is a metal screen with a plastic handle that is located either near the corner at the top of your dryer, or inside the dryer door. In most cases, the lint trap is clearly marked. If your clothes are not drying properly, this is the first place to look because it is the easiest problem to solve. Remove the lint from your lint trap, and then see if your clothes get dry. If they do not, move to the next troubleshooting problem. Vent Hose
To work properly, a dryer needs to be able to vent warm air. If the vent hose is clogged, bent or has a hole in it, your dryer will not work properly. Examine the vent hose to see if it is installed completely over the dryer exhaust vent, and to make sure it does not have a hole in it. Remove the vent hose to see if it is clogged. There are vent hose brushes you can purchase to clean the vent hose properly. Also check the exhaust vent on the dryer and the outside vent to make sure they are not clogged.
Thermal Fuse
If you have been running your dryer with a clogged vent hose for a while, you may burn out the thermal fuse. A burnt thermal fuse will allow the dryer drum to rotate, but the unit will not heat up. Your owner's manual will show you where the thermal fuse is and provide the part number you need to buy to replace it. Thermal fuses are available at most hardware stores and are easy to replace. Heating Element
The heating element is the long, coiled wire in the dryer that heats up the air. Over time, the heating element can burn out or become defective. In some models, the heating element can be repaired; in other models, the heating element should be replaced. Refer to your user's manual to see where your heating element is and whether you can repair it or need to replace it.
No adequate heat due to wrong setting temp or your RV (Reversible valve) not working properly. Set temp +5 than your room temp and mode in " Heat". And check click sound in reversible valve and also warm in sunction line.
If it's with heating element check power goes heater coil. If not check wiring.

Check if the dishwasher’s spray arms are working fine and all the holes of the arms are clear. Now try using a different detergent like gel or liquid based detergent to see if it helps.
Dishes are left unclean when the dishwasher is not filling in properly or when the water pressure is low. Check for water pressure and water inlet valve. The water inlet valve if faulty will draw very little or no water. However, if you observe that water pressure is fine and there is no issue with the Fill valve then check whether the dishwasher is draining. If it’s not draining then see if the drain hose is plugged or clogged. If drain hose is fine and the dishwasher is still not draining then there is some issue with the drain pump or drain filter. To check this you’ll need to disassemble the dishwasher and trace back the drain hose to a pump, remove the drain hose from pump and clean the debris from the pump and filter. Make sure you have lots of towels as there would be a lot of water coming out from the pump.
Next thing to check if the dishwasher is draining and filling properly is water temperature. Water temperature should be between 120 and 140 F. If water is not hot enough then heating element has gone bad, to check the element you’ll need a multimeter. Use the multimeter and check if the Rx1 reading on the meter shows reading between 1200 (1.2K) ohms and 1500 (1.5K) ohms, if not the heating element has died. Please post back if more information is required.

Hi Thanks for using FixYa. First of all please check the Water
temperature by using a thermometer inside the dishwasher to measure the water
temp. It should be as close to 125 degree F to 140 degree F as possible. Now
try using the temperature boost feature if your dishwasher is equipped with
this cycle feature and check if this will help your wash ability issues. Now check the Powder soap by making sure that you store
your soap in a dry environment and it is not stale and clumping together.
Possibly try a different detergent like a liquid or gel. Also, make sure the
dishes are loaded properly, or dishwasher is not overloaded. To check
the proper filling dishwasher will fill with water up to and around the heating
element. If water is more below the heating element, you may have low water
pressure or a problem with the fill valve. Try & listen if it sounds like
it is spraying the water around with enough pressure. For low water pressure, try to clean the screen at the
entrance of the fill valve, sometimes the fill valve can fail and not allow the
proper water into the dishwasher and may need to be replaced. And, check
the spray arm and pump cover for splits or leaks. Also make sure that the water
is draining and is not accumulated in the dishwasher, if it is in
dishwasher then check for clogged drain hoses and drain pump. Low water fills are a very common trouble maker with
today's dishwasher. Please do

As far as the poor running and hard starting, yes, it could be egr or valves or timing or almost anything. Your heat problem : I suspect the heater core may be air locked. With the engine running, loosen one heater hose with the heat control on hot, and see if you can get any air out of it.
Also, check your water pump. Squeeze your rad hose as tight as you can for a bit. When you release it, you should feel a surge of coolant go through it.
Check your heat control valve to see that it's working.
If there is insufficient air flow over the heating element, it can cause an over-temp switch to shut down the heater till it cools down (10 to 15 minutes). The switch may be sluggish about resetting itself, but the cure is to make sure the exhaust air is not restricted in any way. Pull the lint filter and wash it in hot water and detergent. Allow to air dry. Vacuum the area under the filter as far as you can reach. Take the flexible hose off of the machine and vacuum into the pipe coming out of the machine. Check the flex hose for accumulation of lint and clean. Do you discharge outside or into the basement? If into the basement, you need a moisture/lint trap on the hose end--otherwise, you may be growing mold in the house that you don't want. Check the outside vent for lint accumulation and proper shutter operation. Hope this helps.
