How do I adjust the settings on a 625-236 atomic clock

If you have a Howard-Miller 625-236 atomic clock, do you need to change the time zone only or manually set the time?

To set the time zone, press Mode (furthest left on the back of the clock) to get to the Alarm Time Mode. Then press Set (2nd from the left) to change the time zone. Then press Adjust (the middle button) to select the correct time zone. Press Mode again to exit the settings mode. To manually set the time, you need to remove the battery from the clock. Then reinsert the battery after 30+ seconds. Press and hold Set until the hour begins to flash, then press Adjust to change the time. Press and hold to quickly change the hour. Then press Set to change to the minutes and use Adjust to set the current minutes. Repeat this routine to set the seconds, month, date and year. Press Mode to exit to the Time mode.

The manual is available here: http://www.theclockdepot.com/howard-miller-625-236-techtime-operations-manual.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do I set the time zone? It run out of battery so when I changed it, the time zone is pacific and I need to change it to mountain time.

To change the time zone, open the control compartment cover on the bottom of the clock. Locate the "Time Zone" switch and set it to the appropriate time zone for your area. Six time zones are programmed into your clock, "A" for Atlantic, "E" for Eastern, "C" for Central, "M" for Mountain, "P" for Pacific and "H" for Hawaiian. Once you've chosen the correct time zone for your Brookstone digital desk clock, you must select whether you want the clock to operate using the 12-hour or 24-hour format. The clock is set to the 12-hour format by default. If you'd like to change the setting to the 24-hour format, locate the "Time Format" switch on the bottom of the clock and flip it to "24-hour".
You can also decide whether to turn your clock's automatic Daylight Savings Time feature on or off. If you turn the feature on, your clock will automatically move forward by one hour at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in March and fall back by one hour at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in November. To choose your preference, locate the "DST" switch on the bottom of the clock and flip it to "Autoicon1.png" or "Off".

Daylight savings time again

Appparently the problem could be with your location, or just that there may be a delay before time correction until the old date - check again the link to amazon i posted before - there are a couple of new reviews that discusss the daylight saving issue, also - The US clock says; "I have a radio controlled clock that receives NIST time. Will the new rules affect me? Your radio controlled clock should automatically implement the new DST rules. The WWVB broadcast contains information that tells your clock whether DST or ST is currently in effect. NIST always sends this information to agree with the current DST rules, so your clock should change automatically on the day of the change, just as it has in previous years. If the time is wrong after the DST change, make sure that your clock has recently received the time signal. Many radio controlled clocks have a synchronization indicator that will tell you if your clock has recently synchronized. If the clock isn't receiving the signal, click here for some tips on improving reception. If it has received the signal recently, check to make sure that the clock's time zone setting is set properly. Also, if you live in an area where DST is not observed (Arizona, for example), you need to disable the automatic DST function on your clock. I have a non-radio controlled clock that used to automatically correct itself for DST. Will it still work? The only way to find out is to wait and see, or to contact the manufacturer of the clock. There are a large number of non-radio controlled clocks, marketed under names like "AUTOSET" or "SMARTSET" that have internal firmware that automatically changes the time by one hour on the transition days to and from DST. These clocks do not connect to a NIST time service, and some of them will no longer work properly due to the DST rule change. For example, clocks manufactured prior to the rule change will probably not switch to DST in March, but will wait until April in accordance with the old rule. If you have a clock like this that fails due to the new rules, your only recourse is to adjust the clock manually, or to contact the manufacturer and ask for an upgrade or a replacement. If you need to contact manufacturer check http://www.emersonscott.com/ezsetamclocr.html Hope this helps:)
