Trick for wedding veils: Long veils are a pain, after the ceremony. I attached my long veil to the head piece with Velcro. After the ceremony, I removed it and danced all night long.

Wedding veils come in so many different lengths and the trick is to match the length and style to suit your wedding dress. There are short, shoulder, elbow, waist, knee and floor length amongst others. It's really important that you get advice about styles before you buy a veil and then always be sure that it matches the color of your dress.

To remove it, apply a small amount of acetone, toluene or naphtha using a cotton swab on the glue then scrap it off when it softens.

I need to remove e6000 glue from a wedding veil

As reported in the information leaflet, E-6000 can be removed using nail polisher remover, which contains acetone. Here an extract from the leaflet:

"Uncured E-6000 can be cleaned by using small amounts of solvents such as Acetone, Tolulene or Naphtha. Cured E-6000 requires scraping or cutting away product with sharp knife and use of mineral spirits to soften product."

Hardened E-6000 may be more difficult to remove. Below a list of E-6000 solvents, as reported in the adhesive's specification sheet:

Chevron solvent 1100
Chlorothane NU
Cyclohexane
Gasoline
Methylene chloride
Perchloroethylene
Propyl acetate
Toluene
1, 1, 1-Trichloroethane

Most of the products mentioned above require special precautions, as they can be toxic, flammable or corrosive. When doing the removal job observe carefully the health and safety prescriptions for the chosen solvent.

Read this article from the Wedding Veil website. It's a really good guide to picking the best veil to suit your dress;
