Check the circuit breaker and make sure you have power to the pump.
If you have power to the pump and it is not operational when the tub is full of water and you are in it then I would say you have a serious problem.
Most all of the older control that Aquaglass has used in the past have been discontinued.
You may want to visit this link and identify your control before you begin t trouble shoot your system.

SOURCE: My Aqua Glass Whirlpool tub

Your motor is shot. you need a new pump. If it comes on and you can hear a hum then it is bad. If you can get us a model number of the pump we can recommend a replacement model for you.

SOURCE: aqua glass jetted tub quit working

Hello. There are two reset buttons in the mechanical space or your tub. You should be able to access that area from the front by removing a few screws. it is not uncommon to have to push those reset buttons after a power outage. If you do need a repair I recommend that you call a store that sells hot tubs as they will have a technician on staff or be able to guide you to one. Regards, Joe

SOURCE: This is the second time

You can go to Lowe's or Home Depot and tell them what you have. They make an epoxy that will fix these holes.

Melnor water timer

Melnor is major water timer company, and not off-brand. However, water timers last a couple years, or less, sometimes they last long time but that is not often.
If not drained completely of water, they will break when water freezes.
Copy following link to identify all water timers on market today:

Most timers have 1 year limited warranty for defects in workmanship.

When was the last time the timing belt was changed?

It almost sounds like a timing belt issue, and some of the ribs fell off due to age. Average life of a timing belt is approximately 90-110k miles, although at the current 12-15k / year, that equates to 6-9 years. If you haven't replaced this yet, then you are due.
I believe that toyotas are non interference engines, so you shouldn't have to worry about the piston hitting the valves. There should be some view ports on the timing belt cover so that you can see / inspect the timing belt. If you are mechanically inclined you may be able to remove the timing cover to view the belt, although this takes a while to get to as it is behind all your other accessory belts.
