Need remote code for Aveis tv

I would suggest you take that remote back. I got a cheap 8 dollar GE remote from Dollar General for 8 bucks and all that is required to program it is for the TV to be on. I've never heard of a universal remote having to be in TV mode as that would defeat the purpose.

Universal remote control manufacturers sometimes do not include Codes for particular TV Brands since such TV's were intended to be used in a different region or the TV Brand was not out when they designed that remote. However, it is very likely that any new TV Brand uses that same technology that other brands use. With this being said, all you need to do is enter several TV Codes on the Universal Remote Control that would work with other TV's that are in the same price range as yours or that are in the same "Category."

During my research I found out that AVEiS Televisions appear to be "Re-branded" TV's therefore the codes might not be available with that name brand and that's why your question pops up everywhere.

I read, that you could try the following codes:

Please try Prima codes (0761,0817,0815,0783 or 1933, 2253) and Insignia code (1326, 1368).

If those codes don't work, try some more from the User Manual that you think might work based on the information previously mentioned. Who knows, you might get lucky and enter a code that's compatible with yours. If you have your book with the codes, just review them and if you don't have the User Manual go to the following website where you can download the User Manual that has all the available codes for your Phillips SRP4004/27 Universal Remote Control.

since most of the disney TVs are manufactured by memorex company ..... from your universal remote control's manual check the codes for memorex brand & try it .... if you don't have manual for your universal remote then from this link http://www.remotecentral.com/features/remotes.htm identify your universal remote & in that check codes for memorex brand & try it .... while searching answer for your question i have found that many people have same problem that is code for universal remote ..... but they never got right answer ......... & also neither same original remote control nor equivalent remote control is available (spare ) ...... so in case if you don't get right code then consider selling of this TV & buying new tv ...........

Aveis is a daytek product which is a Daewoo company. I found a site where you can check and make sure of this http://www.daytek.ca/ Click on products. I found codes for daewoo on page 35 of a manual I downloaded from this site:http: //tv.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/shaw/atlas_pvr_universal_remote_control.html . I hope this works for you.

There is no code for the Aveis Tv in the code list but you can try doing this for code search...

1. Manually turn ON your device (TV, VCR, Cable Box)
2. Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH
3. Press and release the device button you want to set up (TV, VCR, Cable Box) However, if you are using AUX for a device, press and release AUX first and then the device button for the type of device to be programmed (TV, VCR, or Cable). The selected device button will flash once.
4. Release CODE SEARCH.
5. Press OFF/ON repeatedly until the device turns off (you may have to press up to 100 times at a rate of once per second).
6. Once the device turns off, press and release ENTER.
7. With the device on, press any other button. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-6.
