Since last week the answer ''on'' light just keeps flashing and it doesn't works when somebody calls me. I have tried unplugging and replugging but it just keeps flashing.
I had that once or twice on my phone. What I did was hit on, off, on, off, about 10 times. It quit for me. Digital stuff is great when it works. Pain in the @$$ when it doesn't. LOL

KX-TGA101S is an add-on handset for a Panasonic KX-TG1000 series cordless phone system. One of the models that is compatible with the handset is the KX-TG1032S. You can find the manual for the phone system on the product page here: https://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG1032S.html . Assuming that you do not have voice mail from your telephone provider, you can change the number of rings from the Answering Device Settings Menu.
Start with the phone system in standby (no incoming or outgoing calls) mode. Press Menu and use the up/down keys to navigate to Answering Device. Press OK to enter the sub-menu. Navigate to Settings and press OK. Navigate to Ring Count and press OK. Use the up/down arrows to choose a new number of rings. Press OK to save and press Off to exit the menu system. Note: if the ring count is set to Toll Saver mode, the answering system will pick up on the second ring if there are new messages. It will pick up the incoming call on the fourth ring if there are no new messages.
See page 31 of the manual for the KX-TG1032 for this information. See page 23 for the way to navigate through the menu and a list of the menu tree items. The current link to the manual is ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg1031_en_om.pdf .

Hi again. The reason that your are experiencing this issue is because of you answering options. Here are some instructions on how to turn this feature off. thx for using fix ya:) (we were previously dissconnected)
There is a round button on the phone with arrows pointing in each direction. To turn up the volume up: Press the up arrow repeatedly during a conversation. If that does not work, it may be best to return the phone for a new or diffrent one.
I don't think the problem is the FSK vs. DTMF. The manual even states that the caller ID is generally received after the second ring. This is true in America. I lived in India for four months and I never ran into the problem there so... I just can't say how your provider sends the caller ID. It may be that the line is being interfered with. Do you have a DSL line attached to the same device. If so make sure that there is a filter between you phone and its connection.
I am assuming that you tested your line with the other equipment connected to the same location. You may want to reduce the problem to the simplest configuration by connecting directly to the line only no other equipment. If it works add the other equipment until the caller ID stops again. Then you know what is interfering. If you have a monitor set you could listen to the DTMF being sent make sure it is coming between the first and second ring. It is audible if it is there. If you are answering on the first ring you will not see caller ID you have to wait till after the second ring then you should see it, If BSNL is sending the same as American systems. Good luck Z
