Someone may've accidentally put liquid dishsoap rather than dishwasher soap into the fill cup. The bubbling will cause lots of foam to rise up above the float-switch without actually raising the switch (shutting off the water supply). Lots of helpers on the web recommended draining, wiping out the foam, pouring in a cup of vinegar and a handful of salt and running the rinse cycle a couple of times. It worked for me!

yes, the problem is usually dirt in the valve or the water valve under the sink .

look in your air gap first make sure there is no debrie in there this will make you dishwasher drain really slow.

Under the machine is the water inlet valve. if you take off the front end of that you find a filter which fills up with rust, and you can clean it out. If that doesnt work, repairclinic.com will sell you a new valve for 32

Hi,
There are two things that could cause this issue. The first and most common is a cracked feed tube. The feed tube is the plastic pipe that sits under the upper rack and feeds water to the middle spray arm. If this tube breaks or cracks it shoots water directly down toward the front of the door and leaks occur. The part number for a new tube is 3378144
The second thing it could be is the lower door seal, it clips onto the inner door liner at the bottom. It is part number4172127
