I would say definitely NOT to the dishwashing liquid! Would create way too many bubbles.

Can we use liquid soap while rinsing the dishwasher?

No you can not use nondishwasher liquid (there are liquid soaps made for use in the dishwasher) to clean your tub. A very effective dishwasher cleaner is VINEGAR . Place a cup upright as if you were going to drink from it on upper rack and run a regular cycle.

Extra suds due to liquid soap in the machine overflowing. How do I drain it?

This is strange. Are you using an electric dishwasher liquid soap, OR are you using a dish soap that you manually use to wash dishes?
REGULAR dish soap liquid that is not specifically made for dishwashers creates a foamy suds with lots of bubbles that will in fact bubble out of your dishwasher. on the other hand. Electric Dishwasher detergent will NOT create foamy suds with lots of bubbles.
Switch your soap. The next cycle any residue suds or soap will be gone as long as you use the proper liquid detergent. I would also recommend using a rinse agent which further helps break down and rinse off residue.

I used dishwashing liquid and have suds

most of the time you have to let them disapate by them selves. bot if you have a wet dry shop vac this will help remove them alot faster.

Can liquid detergents be used in a dishwasher?

Only dishwasher detergent can be used in a dishwasher. Some of them are liquids. Regular liquid detergents such as dish detergent or laundry detergent is too sudsy and it will make so many suds that they will be all of the dishes and the floor if used.
