Check for any bad solder on the mainboard of the TV, and also check for any burn fuse on the powersupply area... BAd solder was very common problem on Mitsubishi TV..
If it is not a Mitsubishi lamp it could be that. Aftermarket lamps do not make happy with these TVs. I purchased one and learned the hard way, so either replace with Mitsubishi parts or take your chances. No I do not work for Mitsubishi, I just own two of these TVs and have learned from experience.
