There are several possible reasons for this. The Kyocera Rise requires an SD card to be unmounted through the memory option in the settings. If you remove the SD without unmounting, you will receive the error message. The Rise also has several software issues that sometimes cause your SD to stop being read, even while still inserted. If you receive this error message without removing your SD card, it is recommended that you take your phone to a company certified Sprint store to have it checked out.
there's an error "storage not ready" on your nokia 5310? remove battery, the sim card and the micro sd card, leave it like that for a minute or two then put everything back in. ones it turns on, and if still gives the same error message, dont do anything and leave it like that for atleast 5 minutes. if its still like that, try putting removing the micro sd card (memory card) and turn it back on. if it still gives the same error message, its already the phone (unit) that needs to be checked by your local technician.
The 1802 error is ussually caused by an "unsupported" wireless card being installed. check out this site for a fix that has worked for me on a couple Thinkpads (including the one I'm writing this message on) to allow unsopported wifi cards to work.
Have you tried taking the card out and removing the battery and trying again. I had an issue with one card - no different from the others I use Scandisk 2GB but problem has now gone.
