I think probably the easiest and safest wayfor you is remove your windows password with Windows Password Seeker. I found it at about.com PC support channel last week, and used it to remove the lost passwordwithin 5 minutes. Importantly, the useful tool no need to reinstall Windows. It's worth a try.

when you do that and once you are into windows you can go and reset or remove your password from

Regarding Windows password, if you have another account on your laptop that has administrator rights, log in into that account and change the password for your account. If you have an administrator account (even if you don't try putting in Administrator and leave password field blank) try using that account to reset the password, otherwise try one of the following:

Is this a BIOS password when you first turn it on, or a windows password? You need to enter the BIOS to reset a BIOS password. If it is windows, once you are logged in, press ctrl+alt+del. Click on the Change Password button.

You can't enter the laptop until it has Guest Account Enabled. It is surely disabled. And for that Forgotten Password, try to remember that do you have any other user on that laptop. If yes, then log into on behalf of that user and change the password of yours by accessing the User Account Page in the Control Panel. This way you need not have to remember the Password of that account. And if you don't have any other administrator, then try a Hard Reset. Do you want to reset a password for log in? Or into bios.

What you could do is log into windows threw safe mode. to do this press f7 during log in ( somes times it could be f8 or f9 just keep pressing them all, not at once, till it asks if you want to start up in safe mode) from their log in as the admin account open command prompt by click start then run then type cmd then ok.

You will ee a black dialogue box in their type this

net user user name*

of course instead of the user name you would put what ever the username of the account you want to change the password of

after you hit enter (after typing net user username*) it will ask what u want the new password to be enter that and then reenter it if it asks then restart in the normal way you always do and enjoy your new password
