How do I adjust bridge thickness on ice o matic

Adjust the Timed freeze. The freeze timer is an adjustable timer used to control the ice bridge thickness. The freeze timer is factory set but may need to be adjusted upon initial start up of the machine. When time is added to the freeze timer the length of the freeze cycle is increased, therefore the ice bridge thickness is increased. When time is removed from the timer, the freeze is shorted and the ice bridge thickness is decreased. The freeze timer can be adjusted by sliding one or more switches to either the ON or OFF position to 1/8'' ( 3mm ). If bridge is too thick remove enough time from the timer to achieve proper thickness. If bridge is to thine add enough time to timer to achieve proper thickness.
NOTE: The freeze timer on ECP models is located on the circuit board. It operates and is adjusted as described above. Now if you have had this machine for awhile and it was making the right bridge thickness and is now making thinner ice i would look at the purge valve to make sure it is not letting water seep out of the sump tray during freeze cycle this will cause the sump tray to keep filling up with water and will cause thin ice.

What is the intermatic e 1020 used for just moved into a house andits in the bathroom and makes a lot of noise.

The E1020 timer is reliable heavy-duty 24-hour on-off analog timer with replaceable trippers and manual override, rated 12 amps.
This timer replaces ordinary single-pole on-off switch.
Timer has extra white wire that connects to white neutral wires inside box to run timer mechanism, while mechanical single-pole switch does not need this wire.
I don't know what it is doing... maybe running the vent fan periodically, or turning on attic vent fan?

For same timer, with less noise, install E1100-1200 aka the KM series in-wall analog timer. Or install digital in-wall timer, or replace timer with on-off switch.

Does timer 15071 automatically adjust for changing daylight length in addition to adjusting for daylight savings time?

GE 15071 sold at Home Depot and on-line has feature that adjusts for daylight savings time.
GE 15086 does not offer automatic adjustment for DST
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#15071

Daylight savings time (DST) is not same as dawn-to-dusk astronomical timer.
GE 15071 and 15086 single-pole timers do not have dawn to dusk astronomical feature.

For single-pole dusk-dawn astronomical with DST, Lowes sells Utilitec-0192773
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0192773.html

For 3-way switching, 7-day DST -or- dawn-dusk astronomical:

The light does not stay on until sunrise. This is just since the clocks went back on the 8th November,.

You posted under ST01C.
It sounds like your timer is not set to automatically adjust for DST.

Open following page to see step by step for setting DST to automatic so timer auto-adjusts for DST:
Steps are shown under 'setting current time'
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html

Utilitec 0192773 also has dawn-to-dusk timer with DST option.

See those instructions:

Gas range makes buzzing sound which goes away when disconnected from electrical outlet.

possible to have abad relay on the circuit board itself, only real way to fix is to replace the control board assy
