If you have an amazon account then all your books and movies will automatically be available on a new kindle when you log in to your account. Any photos etc. which weren't backed up to your account may be lost.

Connect your kindle to your PC. When the window pops up for your Kindle options choose "open device to view files". A new window should appear which is the Kindle hard drive icon, double click to open the hard drive. Look for the DCIM folder or the Pictures folder for your pictures. Then copy/cut and paste on you PC.

The Kindle Fire does not have a camera. Or are you asking about a Kindle Fire HD?
