Travelmate 2410 keys not working

You don't need any drivers. Laptops and desktops use an internal win device driver. You can actually find the file called keyboard.sys

What you need in your case in a new keyboard. For your Travelmate they sell for about $50. It takes maybe 10 minutes to change it out. This is something you can do at home. Look on you tube for something like laptop keyboard replace and you can see the process and decide if it is something worth trying. If you google or bing or whatever for travelmate 2410 keyboard or laptop parts you can find several dozen sources. If you look they will have instructions or videos for your travelmate.

Hi! I'm trying to use bluetooth on my acer travelmate 4100. Something it's wrong because I'm trying to connect to another computer but it looks like not really functioning. Should I do something to...

Hi,

First, check if your bluetooth device is ON. To do so, Press and Hold the "Fn" key on the keyboard and tap "F5" (Fn+F5) it is the command to switch the wireless and the bluetooth devices On or Off.
A window will then come up where you will see if the bluetooth is On or Off. If bluetooth is disabled, you can Enable it on the window.

Acer travelmate 4100 works fine with no battery

Try to use another OS, like Ubuntu Live, and see if the mouse and KB will freeze. If they wont freeze, It is better to reinstall the OS.

If they will freeze again with Ubuntu, then I am sorry to tell you that the battery life has finished.

The only thing to do is to replace it for another one new.

Thanks for rating!!

Replace Keyboard for Acer Laptop 2414WLCi

Hey,
Here it is step by step. (Depending on make and model, disassembly may vary slightly.)
1) Remove the battery.
2) Remove ALL of the screws from the bottom of the laptop.
3) Remove any screws on the back of the laptop.
4) Fold the screen back as far as possible then remove the small plastic caps on the hinges.
5) Remove the piece above the keyboard, with the power button on it.
6) Lightly lift up the keyboard and underneath it you will find a ribbon cable attached to the motherboard, detach the keyboard and replace it with the new one.
7) Do exactly the opposite of what you just did to reassemble.

:) Hope I helped!
