Manual fir a sylvanian #lc321ss9 made in 2009

ManualsLib has the manual for the Sylvania LC321SS9 here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/500307/Sylvania-Lc321ss9.html . See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/500307/Sylvania-Lc321ss9.html?page=18#manual for the directions for manual scanning of channels. If the TV looses power before you turn the TV off with the power button, the scanned channels will not be saved.

I hope this helps.

(Note: some TVs will delete digital channels from the stored channels if the signal strength consistently is too low for the tuner to interpret.)

I have plugged in my firestick and on the hdmi channel on the tv it says no signal?

Are you sure it has 5V power? If you're using a USB socket for power on the TV it might not be good enough.
Stating the obvious, plug it into the adaptor that came with it and manually select the HDMI channel.
If that fails, it's perhaps necessary to send it back to Amazon.

My Tv no longer registers a signal from the antenna. I can see a picture thruogh my smart DVR and Chromecast but no pic with TV antenna. I bought a new antenna, still no signal.

Is the TV set to air or cable? It has to be set to air/antenna and a channel search has to be done first before a picture will show.

My TV will not register channels

Think that your tuner section has been compromised by the surge. Happens. If your other audio/video inputs work you can plug an external tuner in there.

I recently got a basic cable plan but am only getting a couple of channels.. How can I change this?

The best thing to do is contact the cable provider and ask them to provide a list of the channels you are suppose to get. With all the channel mapping and digital TV display devices these days, you might need to have your display device scan for channels if the signal is not tuned through the cable box itself. The channels may be there but the tuner in the TV device has not scanned the channels to register them into it's memory. Also make sure to set the TV for a Cable mode of tuner.

I cant get any channels with my coby tv

This COBY only has an analog tuner. Thus unless you are close to one of the remaining low-power stations, you need a digital-to-analog converter for OTA TV signals. For digital TV, you should use antennaweb.org or tvfool.com to identify the antenna and direction for the digital signals that you may be able to receive. Antennaweb assumes an outdoor antenna is conservative in the channel list it provides. Digital signal is either enough to register with the tuner or No Signal. An amplifier may be needed is the signal is split to several TVs.

If you have cable, check the type of signal coming in to the TV. If the signal has been switched to digital, you need a set top box.

I hope this helps.

Just got an antenna to pick up local HDTV channels. I scan the channels and none are found. does it matter if I connect to "Ant1" or "Ant2"? neither seem to work. Thanks.

According to the user's manual on page 16, press Menu and open the Setup menu. Highlight Installation and press Enter. Open the Terrestrial menu and highlight Input Configuration. Select the ANT1 or ANT2 (whichever the antenna is connected to) and select input source Antenna [not cable]. Highlight Done and press enter. Now rescan your channels. If you still get nothing, try relocating your antenna to a better place. Digital TV is highly dependent on line of site signals. So if you are in a mountainous region or surrounded by a lot of high rise buildings, you may not receive a good enough signal to register channels on your TV.

New TV doesn't register being HD ready during test TV stations do

Try going into the setup menu and make sure it is set to antenna then do a channel program. You don't need to wait for a test there are plenty of channels already there. Both digital and analog channels are still available so you will still a message that you are not receiving digital if you are putting it on an analog channel. The channel number has to have a dot(.) in it like 8.1, 24.1 If there is no dot you are on an analog channel
