I have a TCM fg20 forklift that here lately seems like you have to give it more gas to move . It's propane powered. Any idea what to check ? Scott

all forklifts have an isolator valve in the drive system that stops the vehicle movement if the foot is on the brake
that area of control is where I would be looking at because if the valve is not allowed to neutralize properly then it stops movement or only allows partial movement

2006 powerbook G4. my screen will get glitchy and i can see multi color squares and lines randomly on the screen. when i move a window the pixels chase and outline my movements. any ideas?

sounds like the video card is dying. I was able to hold off on one dying by downloading a fan controller that kept the machine cooler, but with the age of the G4, it's likely damaged. Consider replacing or the fan controller.

Sony bravia kdl-46v3000

The cables from the tcon board are moving , when you push , you'll need to fix the movement with the coated foam cushions that you'll see in different places around the cables . Or wrap sponge in duct tape and cut to size as a home made remedy ,

I have a playskool cookie monster count and crunch, and my son hold the head to hard and now the mouth of the toy no longer moves. Any idea how to fix it?

My son did the exact same, i thought I'd share the fix because it looks like a common fault. I found the problem wasn't a detached string in the mouth but a broken plastic pivot in the body. I replaced it for a screw & cookie works fine now, took me 30 mins plus some stitching.
  • make a neat cut straight down cookies belly fur from chin to base.
  • open him up gently, there's 7 screws on the case to undo - 2 of them are quite deep which hold the backpack on.
  • separate the front section by titling from the bottom upwards.
  • on the right hand side you'll see 3 cams for the head movement - turn him on/ move his head if you're unsure
  • the horizontal one has a white plastic peg that it uses for the pivot, this is what had snapped off in mine.
  • so, remove the lower cam & it's 2 screws. remove the horizontal cam. get rid of the white peg. remove the screw on the white box behind where the peg sat.
  • now use a new screw to replace the pivot point and fix the horizontal cam to the box - don't tighten it right up,it needs to move. I used a 1/2" no.8 screw.
  • replace other cam - again don't tighten it right up, it needs to move.
  • replace front cover - takes a bit of guiding into place.
  • replace screws & stitch his stomach back up.
This worked for me, hope it helps.

Car has Tilt Steering and has play, you can take the wheel and move it about an inch up, down, left, right. My buddy owns a shop looked at it and said it should be safe. He can't fix it until he comes...

The problem doesn't sound like it's in the tilt mechanism. The tilt mechanism wouldn't cause it to have side to side movement. Chack everything holding the steering column itself.

Bought the scope about 4 years ago. Fairly light use and not used in last 12 months. Was checking it recently and replaced batteries etc. Horizontal motor movement is fine however no vertical motor...

Do a RESET on the hand controller. Re-enter Time, Date, and SITE, and CALIBRATE motors.

Also sometimes a bad hand controller cable will cause this. You can buy another cable directly from Meade. Call them here:

Horizontal Lines on the Photos

Hi,

You no need to fix this problem. This is a CCD failure and in some cases had been subject to a recall.Contact Kodak support this may be one of the recalls and replacement camera could be on its way. They will do it for free of cost.

Thank you !!

Find watch numbers, seamaster automatic

I hope you have Omega Dynamic?!

If yes, then the crown can be removed by appling slight pressure against the watch. The stem inside the watch is made of 2 pieces and the crown can be pulled out. But be careful, there are chances that the stem may break :-)
