Hi there,
You should be able to fix this simply by inserting the original Cd that came with the computer and following the onscreen instructions.
Or the startup disks (if created) when you first used your laptop.
Alternatively If you do not have the one that came with your computer then you should be able to purchase one from ebay quite easily, and then insert it and follow the onscreen instructions.

The first thing you have to do is reset your windows password , There is a way to reset windows password without erasing anything.
Follow the instructions:
1.Free download the iso file : http://www.resetwindowspassword.com
2.Burn it to a disk to create the boot disk, that simple.
3.Configure your pc or laptop to boot in the cd drive,
4.Insert the CD, reboot from CD drive, and then just follow the process of instruction. A few steps later, admin password would be cleared
Took about 5 minutes for the whole process.

Probably means your factory restore is no good because it is created from a image that is either on cd's or the hard drive. Most times the restore does not work unless it is put on the hard drive by the manufacturer.

Local print spooler not working. What do I do?

Try to uninstall the Lexmark driver and download an updated driver online. Just go to http://bit.ly/UmL4pl and choose the operating system of your computer.

If it doesn't help, check your print spooler if it's running. To do that, on your computer, click on Start > Run > type in Services.msc > OK > look for Print Spooler and make sure that it's started.

Approach G3 - when I power up the word Garmin displays but the screen flickers about every 5 seconds and nothing else happens. It will not turn off without removing a battery.

Most of the causes of this kind of problem pertains to unstable operating software.

Update the internal operating software of your Garmin device.
  • Download and install the Garmin WebUpdater from this link http://www8.garmin.com/support/agree.jsp?id=931
  • Select the appropriate version of the WebUpdater based on your computer's operating system
  • Click "I agree to the above terms and want to proceed to the download page"
  • Connect your Gamin Device to the computer.
  • Click Download
  • Select Run when the pop up box appears
  • Select Run if a message appears asking "Do you want to run this software?"
  • Click Next when the WebUpdater installation page appears
  • Check the box to accept the licensing terms and select Next
  • Select Done to complete the WebUpdater download
  • Once WebUpdater is installed on your computer, select the application, if it does not automatically open, to run the program and follow these prompts:
  • Select Next on the WebUpdater Wizard
  • Select Find Device and Next
  • Select Next to update the unit software on your device
  • Follow the prompts to complete the process
  • Once you have updated your device, you will be prompted to search for additional updates. To load any additional updates, check the box next to the specific updates you wish to download. Select anything that relates to firmware and GPS software.
  • Once selected, click Next and check the Agreement box. At this point the updates will run directly to your Garmin device.

I have the "please wait"

The problem is associated with the Laser / Drive Mechanism.

I take it they told you to :-

1) Unplug and leave for a few minutes.

2) With the On/Off Button Pressed, Plug in and wait for the unit to reset.

If you've done this and still get the same fault then it requires further investigation by an engineer but not necessarily an LG one.

How do I correct the Error Waiting...Please Install Calculator SoftwareNow message on my TI-83 Plus family or TI-84 Plus family calculator?

If an operating system (OS) update fails or is interrupted, the calculator will be in an inoperable state with the message Waiting...Please install calculator software now.The most common cause of a transfer being interrupted is updating the operating system on a calculator with low batteries. Users will need to use the TI Connectivity cable and the TI Connect to send the operating system to the calculator. Make sure to have the latest version of TI Connect installed on the computer.
In order to install the software please follow these steps:
1. Connect the TI Connectivity cable between the computer and the calculator.
2. Click on Start >> Programs >> TI Tools >> TI Connect >> TI OSDownloader
3. Follow the on-screen directions to reinstall the calculator's OS.
If the message "Error! Press any key to turn unit off. Then turn unit back on." appears on the graphing calculator, quickly, remove one battery from the calculator and reinstall it while the transfer is taking place.

TOM TOM RED X APPEARS AND UNIT WON'T SHUT OFF

That typically happens as a result of an application update that either downloaded an incorrect version of the application for the device, or the application update didn't complete before the device was removed, or the application it downloaded was somehow corrupt.

Try deleting any application updates that were downloaded into HOME, then delete the application from the device, then download the new application update for your device, and install it to the device. Give it a good wait after it says it has finished installing the application update and then be sure to use the software eject button within HOME before disconnecting the drive.

Otherwise, you probably have a call to TT support in your future where they will likely have you download a utility to clear the flash on the drive and reinstall the app on the device after that
