SOURCE: HELLO, WOULD YOU KNOW THE

I have seen this post before, perhaps the easiest thing for you to do now, after so long, is to just ring or email Brother or one of their dealers direct.

I do know that Janome recommend no more than 256MB CF card to reduce the need for searching through vast amounts of patterns.

SOURCE: I have a Brother 98-Stitch

I dropped my feed dogs and when I pushed the button to bring them back up, it wouldn't work. I did discover that when you put the button back to the up position and start sewing, the dogs come back up automatically.

SOURCE: need timing instruction for brother SE270d

Your needle thread lock on the bottom of your fabric and your bobbin thread locks on top. If you are getting jamming in the bobbin it is caused by the needle thread. Thread your machine with the presser foot up this will ensure thread going between tension disks.

Take cover off of Brother SE270D

Note--computerized machines are usually made so the covers are difficult to remove because the computer components can be easily damaged. You should probably take the machine for service.

Have you tried adjusting the presser foot pressure? Usually, increasing the pressure will resolve the issue when the feed dogs don't seem to be working properly.

there is also a single screw on the bottom of the machine as well as one behind the bobbin winder, the last 'hidden" one is on the back side of the machine behind what woudl be the reverse button.

Adjusting Bobbin Tension

I looked forever to find this darn green bobbin screw. Around the opening for your bobbin is a plastic cover. If you slide it forward it will pop right off. Once you remove this, the bobbin case will lift right out. On the front you will see your green screw for adjusting your bobbin tension.
