After starting the system keep pressing Num Lock key on keyboard and check if the light on the keyboard is turning ON and OFF.If the light is not going on/off.then there is a problem with your RAM or Display card. Please check this and reply.

If it is a continous beep .... beep .... beep, then the RAM is the problem. It might be loose or the slot might be dusty. Try taking it out and changing the slot. If still the same problem, then try replacing the RAM with a new or borrowed one. If that works, replace the RAM.

If it is one long beep and 4 - 5 small beeps, then the display card (which is mostly onboard on your motherboard) might be faulty.

Deboo

P 4M800PRO-M V1.0A ECS mother board does not beep ,it gives click sound . but some time it start and run good condition .and next restart ,mother broad doesn't start

Sounds like that board is on its way out. Had a good run too!

I'd seek out a complete system upgrade.

Small things you could try is reseating the RAM and testing it with a new power supply.

Hope this helps!

The heat sink on one of the support chips came off and wedged between the graphics board and the thermaltake cpu cooler after the PC was knocked over. The resultant short circuit to ground has blown the...

clue no 1
all of the operating system, files , folders and data are on the hard drive not the mother board
you can fit a new mother board then refit the hard drive and it will be capable of restarting up again
discuss that with a computer repair shop where you buy the new mother board and graphic board
next time use the heat sink adhesive between the cpu chip and the cooling fan heat sink and install it properly
