Motherboard ASUS P5RD1-VM ram problem

More people should complain with Asus support. Checking Asus forums, you'll find there's an obvious problem with a PCI-E video addon + 2 used memory slots. Again: checking Asus forum, this is a reported problem, and a bios bug... Asus should release a new bios version, but they seem not to bother, as this is a relatively "old' mb...

New Graphics Card

As you stated you have a intergrated video controller. Before you add a PCIE card you have to disable the intergrated video in your BIOS. Also in your BIOS where its stated you have a plug & play OS it should read NO. This allows your BIOS to assign IROs and memory usage rather than windows.
Befor you do all this uninstall your PCIE cards software & drivers. Shut down, fix the BIOS reboot & install your software. If you still have problems download this program FREE and run it to clean your regestry: http://www.pcperformancetools.com/exe-file/exe-dll-ocx-extension-unknown-file-type-repair.htm?extension=windows%20error%20codes&gclid=CO3E84jBzpACFSBMGgodh2uHXg
