Have you replaced the batteries and you also need to press the SYNC button inside the battery cover underneath the wii board and the SYNC button on the Wii console at the same time.

Open the battery cover of the Wii Balance Board, you'll see a red "Sync" button. On your Wii itself, if you lift the SD Card slot you will also see a red sync button. Press the sync button on both the balance board and the Wii and it will connect.

Steps:

• You need to make sure game is in first
• push power than blue light will blink
• after the light finishes blinking and still does not turn on then do sync procedure
• open the battery side and push the red sync button then quickly push the sync button on the wii and wait for it to blink and light should be on

Does the light flash but not connect or does the light not flash at all? If the light flashes, you should try holding the sync button where the batteries go in the balance board and the sync button in front of the wii. I don't know what to do if the light doesn't go on at all though.

You need to put in the Wii fit game and bypass all the screens until it is looking for play options.Take the battery cover off of the Wii board and open the large cover on the front of the Wii console.Press the sync button inside the battery compartment on the board,then press the red sync button at the top of the open console.If the blue light stays on constant,they are synched.If not,try again.Good luck and Game On!

I'm afraid the only way to play Wii fit is to use a balance board. That's why it wont let you past.

Try first press and hold the red SYNC button on the Wii console (open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console, the button is just below the disc drive) for 15 seconds. This will clear all synced Wii things from the console.Now sync all back.Push the red sync button on the console, then open the batteries cover on your Wii Remote and push the red button there.Then sync also Wii fit.

get a new board or get it fixed,
try different batteries
dont put any unessessary weight on it
dont stomp on it or jump
be gentle with it
get a new peice so no re-scyn
make sure its not too close too the wii

Ok I feel a little silly, there is a sync button on the console (inside the flap by the power on button) and the board (inside the battery compartment on the underside of the board) as soon as I pressed them at the same time it worked. Goodluck everyone.
