You may notice occasionally that your MSN or Hotmail/Windows Live account has been locked by Microsoft. Due to this, you are unable to login to your email account. You may not even access your Windows Live Messenger. This typically occurs when your account was compromised. Someone may have hacked into your account or stolen your password. Windows Live offers a systematic process to recover and unlock your account. You will need an alternate email address to perform this task.

Navigate to Windows LiveID Account Recovery help page. Read the instructions and click "Continue" twice. Type an alternative email address in the box under Contact Email Address. Click "Continue." Log in to your alternate email account. Open the email from "Windows Live." Click the link provided to you in the email. This will take you to the password recovery process. Type a new password and retype it to confirm. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset. Try to log in to your MSN account using any of the MSN products, including Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger. Hello,
It is a recover process. you will be recover your account for unblocking account. I am sharing you few steps with the help of this steps, you can recover your account.
1. Go to Microsoft site
2 Select on recover account and reset password.
3. Enter your block account and type the character you see on your screen and click on next.
4.Now enter the code generated by authentication app or select use a different verification to get a text message.
5.After the all process , you enter the security code, and you should change your password to complete the unblocking process.

There are a few reasons why your account was blocked.

but there are three ways to unblock msn messenger
-registry
-Microsoft management Controll
-adjusting the port range or blocking a sertain port msn =1863 (i'cant explain this because this is pretty hard, and complicated

you can get to the first 2 'apps' or programs by going to run under the start menu
if you would want to go to the Microsoft Management Controll you need to type in 'gpedit.msc' then you need to go to computer configuration/security settings/software resrictions/additional rules if a path is listed there with the name msn messenger in it delete it,

next step
computer configuration/ administrative templates/ windows components/(windows) messenger, check if these ar both turned on not configured or disabled

repeat these steps under user configuration.

if it still doesn't work

go to run
type in regedit
go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/policies/microsoft/messenger/client

check if preventrun and preventautorun ar set to '0'

If the Yahoo! Messenger application itself is blocked, meaning you cannot start the program itself, you can unblock this through your firewall settings. Double click on your Network Connection icon in your lower right corner of your window. It will open the Local Area Connection Status window. Click Properties. Click the Advanced tab and click the WIndows FIrewall settings button. Click on the Exceptions tab and make sure Yahoo! Messenger box is "checked" to enable it. Then cllick OK and close Properties.

follow to steps to unblock email from spam list(for yahoo email account)
1.Login to your yahoo email
2.Once login to yahoo webmail click Options button.
3.Select Mail Options
4.Under Mail Options, click Block Addresses
5.Select email address that previously blocked and click remove block.
