Lost pictures I had about 103 photos taken and there was no sign that my card was full or anything. I was taking a photo and then all the photos were gone. All it said was no images. I can not find them anywhere. I know I did not delete the photos. Can I retrive them from anywhere or are they just gone? I took several pictures with my camera and after I downloaded them, even though I did not erase them they are not visible on the card. Now, new pictures are not saved to the SD card, only to the random memory, and are lost after I turn the camera off.

I have the same problem. I'm on vacation and want to continue taking pictures. Will I lose the old photos for certain if I start taking new ones?

You'd better not saved anything new on this camera, if you still want to restore your lost pictures back as many as possible.
In fact, after the deleting or formatting process, the deleted photos on this memory card are not actually wiped out as you normally think. They are still stored on this memory card and only become invisible. But, they cannot be there forever. They can be rewritten by anything new on the same memory card. So, you should take care.
Plunge this camera to your computer and download a photo recovery freeware to help you out:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/02/photo-recovery.html
I believe this data recovery freeware can work perfectly on your memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his camera memory card. Just give it a shot!
Directly download this freeware here:

PS: If you don't want to encounter the similar data recovery problems, you'd better back up everything important well in the future.

You can run a check on that memory with Active File recovery to see if the pictures are there or not. If they are there you can get them back.

The free demo o this software allows only file smaller than 64kb to be recovered or you can use the online version which might not have the limitation but it might not see he memory stick not even if the camera is connected to the computer. There's possibility thought that it might see it if you connect it before starting the online version, the demo should see the card if it's connected.

If i accidently re formated my sd card with my D50 camera is there any way to get my pictures back?

That's possible. First do not panic! It is possible to recover your pictures if you take care. Take the card from the camera (powered off) and if it has a "write protect" tab then lock it now. Do not try and write anything to the card or you risk causing more problems.

take a try this recovery program called Wondershare Photo Recovery, a picture recovery tool which can recover deleted or formatted photos, videos and music. It may help with your Nikon camera. Get this program here,
Download Windows version
Download Mac version

The free trial version allows you to scan and preview the found photos, after they are found you need to pay to perform full recovery.

How to Do? Take the memory card out of your camera and connect to the computer(with this software installed) and start the scan process.

You should take care - before the deleted items are recovered, please don't save more files to the camera(SD card) where those data located in case they are overwritten. Good luck!

How I can recover the photos from my camera if accidentally erased

First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your camera (or SD card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software from the following websites, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos and movies from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc.

Digital Photo Recovery for Windows

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.
Step 2: Connect your Sony cybershot camera (or SD card, memory card etc) to your PC.
Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.
Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.

Best regards!

I lost user manual of my Sony Cybershot DSC-W150

I think you have set the "image storage" to internal. If you take a picture the memory reading should go down one shot-if it doesnt it is because your photos are on the internal memory instead of on auto or memory card. If you take out the card then try to view the pictures hopefully you will now see them. Eventually if this is the problem you will get a notice telling you that "internal memory is now full£.
