I need a replacement remote control for my old AIWA hifi mini system Model No CX-LEM50K

The Aiwa Hi Fi has Aiwa XREM50 on the front and model No CX-LEM50K on the back, and I need a replacement remote control for it? Does the Remote Control have it's own model number as well?

They do. If you're in the UK you can try Curry's Partmaster for replacements. Sorry to have to inform you that most replacement remotes are not cheap though, as the makers know when they can spot a money making thing. Everyone sits on or drops remotes!

I can't get my clock set on my aiwa cx-nma545 & I no longer have a remote.

The original remote is needed to get into the main menu, try www.aiwa.com contact customer support, also! go to www.ebay.com type make and model of unit and go through the list you might get lucky.

I need a part # for the volume controle on an Aiwa

The "volume control" on your Aiwa is in fact what is called an "encoder". These can fail. They work in concert with the microprocessor to control the electronic volume control IC. Yes this part can be replaced. Try calling Sony with your model number and request the part number for the volume encoder. They should be able to help.
