Use the following steps to reset the base to factory settings for all TRU models:

1. Disconnect the power from the base

2. hold down the following three (3) keys: [dnd] + [middle soft key] + [*]

3. While holding down the keys, plug in the base (hold the keys down until you hear a long beep).

According to Uniden Tech support, this is supposedly all it takes to reset the phone.

The phone will not work with 220 V. And as an FYI, taking the unit out of the country will void your warranty.

I live in China and just received a Uniden 6.0 DECT phone from my family in the States, and can tell you NO they don't work without a voltage converter. Why in the world Uniden wouldn't make their new products universal (110V-240V) is beyond me; amazingly there is a whole world outside of the US and most of it runs on 220V-240V.

You have to buy a BT to US/RJ11 coupler and then post it to india for the UK cordless phone to work

Yes. I have the same problem. same model. Same issue. I bought the phone around dec 2007. I did not give it to panasonic service center.

I have to buy new one and send it to India. This time only siemens or Uniden.

My friend he suggested me to go for american brands like uniden or Siemens. Similar 5.8 ghz technology, he did not have any problem so far.he is using it in india.
